🏍️ About Buy Doujinshi
- What is Buy Doujinshi?
- We are a shopping proxy service that helps you order doujinshi, goods, and other items from Japanese stores that do not ship internationally.
- Do you have physical stock?
- No. We do not stock any products. All items are ordered from third-party stores after your request and payment.
💳 Fees & Payments
- What is your service fee?
- We charge a base fee of ¥600 plus 12% of the subtotal (item cost + domestic shipping in Japan). See detailed breakdown on our Service Fee page.
- When do I pay?
- You will receive a payment request after we confirm that the item is available. If any item is unavailable, we will inform you before requesting payment.
- What happens if an item is no longer available after payment?
If an item becomes unavailable after you’ve paid, we offer the following options:
- A refund for the item amount (excluding the payment processor’s fee, which is non-refundable)
- Use the value as credit toward international shipping or pending fees in your ongoing order
- We can also offer a store coupon for the equivalent amount to be used in a future order (if you prefer)
We will always contact you before proceeding with any of these options.
- What payment methods do you accept?
- We accept major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and transfer services such as Wise or Revolut (where supported).
📦 Shipping
- What shipping methods do you offer?
- We offer DHL, EMS, FedEx, and FedEx (FICP). Shipping options vary by destination. See our Shipping page for details and estimated delivery times.
- When will my package be shipped?
- After your items arrive at our warehouse and you pay the shipping invoice, we will pack and ship your order promptly.
- Do you consolidate multiple orders?
- Yes! We offer free temporary storage and optional consolidation so you can save on shipping.
- Can I request specific packaging (e.g. cardboard, double wrap)?
- Yes. You can request protective packaging during checkout or via email. Some materials may incur a small extra fee depending on volume or weight.
🔞 Adult / R18 Content
- Can I order R18 items?
- Yes, we accept orders for R18 items that do not require ID verification. These items are blurred on our site and clearly marked.
- Can I order items that require ID verification?
- No. We cannot purchase adult goods that require official ID verification, including some items from DMM, FANZA, or other stores that block proxy services.
❌ Restrictions
- What items are prohibited?
- We do not accept orders for weapons, food, cosmetics, batteries, illegal content, or items restricted for export. Full list is available on our Prohibited Items page.
- What happens if I request a prohibited item?
- We may cancel the item or order without refund of the service fee. Always check or ask before placing your order.
🍪 Marketplace & Special Cases
- Can I order from Suruga-ya, Booth, or Mandarake Marketplace?
- Yes! We support purchases from major Japanese marketplaces such as Suruga-ya, Booth, Mandarake, and others.
- Are there extra fees for marketplace or third-party sellers?
- Yes. If your item is sold by a marketplace vendor or external store, additional domestic shipping is usually required to deliver the item to our warehouse. This cost is added to your subtotal and affects the 12% service fee.
- Do you support auctions and Yahoo! Japan auctions?
- Yes! We can handle auction purchases for you. A fixed fee applies for auction support, and it will be shown in your estimate or invoice.
- Can I request items from secondhand or fan-run stores?
- Yes, as long as the store accepts proxy orders and the item is deliverable within Japan, we can help you buy it.

- How can I check my order status?
- Visit our Order Status page and enter your email or order number to see updates.
- Do you send photos of my items when they arrive?
- Yes! Upon request, we can send warehouse photos of your items before shipping internationally. Just let us know during your order.
